Hope you’re ready for round three, because Super Troopers is about to become a trilogy with the release of Super Troopers 3 in theaters nationwide tomorrow.
Comedian Jay Chandrasekhar is once again back as the director and star of the film, as well as the co-screenwriter, alongside his fellow comedian from his sketch comedy group, Broken Lizard. Those guys—, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske—are also all back to star in the film, as the less-than-competent state troopers in a fictional Vermont town.
The movie is a direct sequel to 2018’s Super Troopers 2, and the third film in the cult comedy franchise that first launched with the first film in 2001. Trooper Rodney “Rod” Farva (Heffernan) is preparing to marry the sister (Hannah Simone) of Trooper Arcot “Thorny” Ramathorn (Chandrasekhar), much to Thorny’s chagrin. Thorny plots to break up the relationship, while at the same time, the Troopers are trying to bust a dangerous new drug ring on the scene.
This is the kind of absurd comedy that is probably best enjoyed with a crowd on the big screen, but if you’d rather wait to watch Super Troopers 3 at home, then read on about when and where we expect to see Super Troopers 3 on streaming.

Where to watch the Super Troopers 3 movie:
Super Troopers 3 will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. on Friday, August 7. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Super Troopers 3 is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
Is the Super Troopers 3 movie streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video?
Super Troopers 3 is not streaming on Netflix or Amazon, and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that it is not a Netflix film. Super Troopers 3 is a Searchlight Pictures release, which is a studio that is owned by Disney.
While some Searchlight films go to Disney+, most end up on the more adult-friendly streamer Hulu, which is also owned by Disney. Since Super Troopers 3 is an R-rated movie, we think it’s likely it will go to Hulu, and not Disney+.
You will be able to purchase Super Troopers 3 on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Super Troopers 3 on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription anytime soon. If you want to watch Super Troopers 3 movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Hulu.

When will Super Troopers 3 be streaming on Hulu?
You might see Super Troopers 3 streaming on Hulu later this year, around mid-November 2026.
Super Troopers 3 is not yet streaming on Hulu. Right now, the movie is only in theaters. We do expect to see Super Troopers 3 streaming on Hulu eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another Searchlight release, Ready or Not 2, was released on digital about two-and-a-half months after the film opened in theaters, and was released on Hulu about three-and-a-half months after the movie opened in theaters.
If Super Troopers 3 follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie on digital around mid-October 2026, and streaming on Hulu around mid-November 2026. (Provided the Hulu app isn’t phased out before then.)
This is all speculation. If you want to watch Super Troopers 3 right away, you can catch the movie in theaters. And in the meantime, you can watch the first two Super Troopers movie streaming on Hulu.
