Von Miller stirs Bills return rumors: ‘Unfinished business’

The Bills defense can use all the help it can get.

Von Miller is seemingly hinting about a return to the Bills with the Super Bowl contenders desperate for help along the defensive line.

Miller, 37, posted a picture of he and Josh Allen on his Instagram Story and a separate picture of him with a Bills hat with the caption “unfinished business.”

The future Hall of Fame edge rusher, who spent three rocky seasons with the Bills, which included a four-game suspension that appeared to be related to a previous domestic violence incident.

Miller was getting paid huge money while with the Bills after signing a six-year. $120 million contract in 2022 that was constantly being restructured by the team. It eventually contributed to Buffalo being in one of the worst salary cap situations of any team in the NFL.

This would be Miller’s 15th season in the league after he spent all of last year with the Washington Commanders where he had a rebound season where with nine sacks while playing in all 17 games.

That’s better production than he had with the Bills, as Miller had eight sacks in 12 games in 2022 before a poor 2023 season where he had just three total tackles and zero sacks in 12 games the following season.

In 2024, Miller played 13 games and had 17 tackles and six sacks.

Miller would likely fill a depth role for Buffalo in 2026 if he is indeed brought in, as the Bills brought in Bradley Chubb as a starting edge rusher and Terrel Bernard and Greg Rousseau will be getting most of the reps at the other linebacker slots.

He could still be a solid third down contributor for the Bills in a reduced role.
