Aaron Glenn made two significant mistakes when he was hired as the Jets head coach last year.
The first was not having his hands all over the defense — considering that he was hired as the team’s head coach in large part because of his success as a defensive coordinator.
The second was not hiring an experienced offensive coordinator to oversee the other side of the ball that Glenn is far less experienced coaching.
After a 3-14 rookie season as a head coach, Glenn addressed both of those issues and hopes those changes lead to a third season as Jets head coach and hopefully many more after that.
