Historic flooding in Indiana washed away a large section of River Road on Indianapolis’ north side as powerful floodwaters battered the state. Footage showed raging water collapsing the roadway near the White River, which was expected to crest later in the day as more rain moved through. At least five people had died in flooding across Indiana by Saturday afternoon, according to the Associated Press.
