For college football fans, “no fall weddings” isn’t a bit or a gimmick, it’s a lifestyle

(iStock)But for college football fans, fall weddings are the bane of our existence, and the war between weekend responsibilities and viewing pleasure has been an intense one since the advent of the sport.This was an almost unanimous sentiment among college football fans as far back as I can remember, but I’ve been seeing a growing portion of the fanbase start to push back on the “no fall weddings” movement.They call it a gimmick. They call it a bit. You can bother me any other day of the week or during a Saturday that falls on one of the other eight months out of the year.
