Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions
Spot the difference:
“[We’ll] target New Yorkers [at city-run groceries], whether it be a sort of a library card-esque thing. . .”
— Jeanny Pak, interim NYC Economic Development Corp. boss, July 27
vs.
“You do not need an ID to shop.” — Mayor Mamdani, Monday
More From Post Editorial Board
We say: Will Team Mamdani please make up its mind? New Yorkers would love to know if their tax dollars will be used to subsidize out-of-towners at Mamdani Marts — that is, if they ever open.
This praise:
“[Hamas’] fight comes from deep love and tenderness.” — DSA International Committee member Mirah Wood, in a 2024 recording that resurfaced this week
We say: Sure, people motivated by “love and tenderness” always chop off babies’ heads, rape women and butcher families, as Hamas fighters did in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Yoikes!
And worse than Wood’s sick spin: Her Democratic Socialists of America are taking over the Democratic Party.
These demands:
“Abolish the Senate. Abolish the Pentagon . . . Abolish it all! [Prisons are] first on the list.” — Sen. Bernie Sanders’ ex-press secretary Briahna Joy Gray, Tuesday

We say: Asked by Piers Morgan if she’d defund or abolish the police, Gray filibustered before finally saying, “Affirmatively yes!”
She then targeted the Senate, the Pentagon and prisons for abolition as well.
Is there any better example of the kind of anarchy Sanders-ite lefties are trying to sow?
This whine:
It’s only been a few hours since the first viable MuslimSenate candidate won a primary and his GOP opponent is already running ads featuring Osama bin Laden and 9/11.The Islamophobia over the next few months is gonna be vicious. https://t.co/Us7TnA8uED— Mehdi Hasan (@mehdirhasan) August 5, 2026
We say: Sorry, but it’s not Islamophobic to note that Michigan Democrats’ just-chosen candidate for US Senate, Abdul El-Sayed, has been regularly stumping with radical bro-caster Hasan Piker — who has literally said, “America deserved 9/11.”
Michigan voters have every right to ask whose side El-Sayed is on.
