A triple homicide rocked Hollywood Tuesday night as police found several people shot in an apartment just steps away from famous landmarks.
Los Angeles Police Department officers in the Hollywood Division responded to the 1900 block of Wilcox Avenue near Cahuenga Boulevard for a welfare check when they made the horrifying discovery, police told The Post.

Three victims — two male and one female — were found dead around 9:43 p.m. from gunshot wounds, cops said, with the suspect nowhere to be found. No ages are known for the victims, and their identities are unclear.

The special division typically deals with “select homicides, bank robberies, serial robberies, extortions, sexual assaults, human trafficking, kidnapping, incidents that result in injury or death to an officer, and threats against officers,” according to the LAPD’s website.
Footage from the scene showed the area near the 1931 Wilcox Apartments taped off with yellow tape and several officers on-scene. Detectives in suits were seen snooping around the apartment complex.

The Wilcox Apartments is a gated apartment complex located less than half a mile from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and just south of the Hollywood Hills. A website description for the apartment describes an idyllic abode.

“Offering all the necessities for a comfortable living, our apartments are well-appointed with all the amenities you need with our recent renovated apartment homes.”
