Observations from Jets training camp Friday.
Something good
Linebacker depth has been a question for the Jets but backup linebacker Mykal Walker has stood out early in camp. Walker picked off Bailey Zappe on Friday, a day after intercepting a Cade Klubnik pass. Walker also is a standout on special teams.
Something bad
Rookie QB Cade Klubnik has faded a bit as training camp has gone on. Klubnik went 6-for-10 in team drills on Friday and did not look as crisp as he had on other days. This is a big week for the fourth-round pick with two joint practices against the Buccaneers on Tuesday and Wednesday and then the first preseason game against Tampa Bay on Friday.

Caught my eye
Demario Davis, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Harrison Phillips all got the day off on Friday. It was a lighter practice with no pads so it was a good practice for a veteran rest day. The team will scrimmage on Saturday in what should be a more intense practice.
Medical report
CB Nahshon Wright (hip) missed his second straight day. CB Brandon Stephens (undisclosed) was also watching team drills on Friday. Aaron Glenn said he got “banged up” on Thursday but was not concerned. Glenn did not have media availability on Friday.
