I’m assuming high-school students don’t read George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” anymore, since it doesn’t support liberal agendas (“Democrats, Save Your Party,” Editorial, Aug. 6).
But the line, “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others,” should be reverberating in everyone’s heads right now. This is exactly what we have in store for us if the Democratic Socialists of America and their terrified Democrat enablers attain power in this country.
While they preach fairness, they’re really interested in installing a cabal of like-minded comrades to impose their thoughts and beliefs upon the rest of us. While most of us will suffer horribly, the “more equal” overlords will make out just fine.

I agree with The Post that sane Democrats need to find a spine and fight back against this growing wave of fanatics and imbeciles.
But what The Post hasn’t ever said is that, likewise, sane Republicans must fight back against equally fanatic MAGA-types and their elected representatives, who refuse to stand up to President Trump and his corrupt administration.
By the way, rumor has it that Lindsay Graham’s autopsy didn’t reveal a spine. No surprise there.

The Democratic Party abandoned its core base of the middle- and working-class decades ago. Now it is floundering and being taken over by the DSA.
On principle, the same working class will not align itself with the socialists. That same principle does not exist with our politicians, who have no principles whatsoever.

Rather than allowing the DSA to define the Democratic Party, I propose embracing a new identity: Democrats 2.0. The name implies both renewal and forward-thinking.
It speaks to younger voters who are looking for fresh ideas, while reassuring older voters that the party is prepared to adapt to a changing political landscape.
Just as important, it would make it more difficult for Republicans, Tea Party activists and MAGA supporters to paint all Democrats as communists — a familiar line of attack that is almost certain to intensify as the election approaches.

The DSAers couldn’t have entered the Democratic Party without being invited. Upon entry, they are quickly taking over the party and trying to kill this country.

Abdul El-Sayed’s primary victory tells the story of a radical change in the Dems’ philosophy. There is no doubt that the up-and-coming Democratic Socialists could dominate in the not-so-distant future.
Thanks to Trump, his war, the failing economy and his unsuccessful policies, the Republican Party is in for a fight this November.

With all the red flags flying (no pun intended), it is amazing that some American citizens are giving the country away. Do they not realize that socialism is just another form of mass slavery? What do they think complete reliance on a government means?
Socialism is just the word being used by the radicals to attract the ignorant. Benjamin Franklin was correct when he stated, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
