Live with Kelly and Mark welcomed one of its own to join Mark Consuelos at the co-host desk in Wednesday’s episode amid Kelly Ripa‘s absence.
Déjà Vu, the show’s announcer, led the show with Consuelos, where they sat down with Chrissy Metz and Cristo Fernández. Déjà is one of a lineup of the guest co-hosts filling in for Ripa as she recovers from gum graft surgery.
This week’s episodes of Live, though new, were previously recorded. A production source confirmed to DECIDER that the Live family is taking their annual summer break this month, but fans can still enjoy brand new content until the season ends on Aug. 28. A premiere date for the next season of Live has yet to be announced.
This week’s guest co-hosts have included Sarah Chalke and Jenna Dewan. Déjà, who opened up earlier this year on Live about being diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, has co-hosted alongside both Ripa and Consuelos in the past. This week will close out with Michelle Buteau joining Consuelos on Thursday and Carrie Coon stopping by on Friday.

As for the rest of this week’s guests, Walt Willey and Patina Miller will visit Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday, and Furious star Emmy Rossum will close out the week on Friday.
